Misha Zakhalov was born and trained in the former Soviet Union.  He moved to New York in 1990, where he began working for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, reproducing the intricate Faberge Egg designs.  He eventually opened his own studio.  Misha's designs incorporate delicate metal work with stunning precious and semi precious stones.
